We are seeking a skilled Commercial Insurance Marketing Representative to support the placement and marketing of commercial lines accounts. This role is responsible for preparing submissions, managing carrier relationships, and securing competitive coverage options that align with client needs.
Responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive and accurate submission packages for marketing to carriers
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters
Evaluate carrier appetites and market conditions to determine optimal placement strategy
Develop coverage comparisons and proposal materials for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with Producers, Account Executives, and carrier partners to ensure timely and effective placements
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance overall marketing processes
Qualifications
2–5 years of Commercial P&C insurance experience, preferably within an agency or brokerage
Active North Carolina P&C License or ability to obtain
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting practices
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Experience with rating tools and market submission platforms preferred
