Job Summary We are seeking a highly creative and collaborative professional to elevate material design for a leading global brand’s football (soccer) product category. Our team drives storytelling and innovation through performance and trend‑relevant material solutions, contributing to a culture‑driven space focused on athlete and consumer engagement.
Responsibilities
Develop and curate technically complex seasonal material designs and narratives in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
Collaborate with color, graphic, and product design professionals to build seasonal toolboxes, athlete stories, and energy projects.
Create accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs) and support manufacturing processes from concept through production.
Research trends and innovations to drive sustainable, performance‑focused materials, while engaging with athletes and collaborators as needed.
Required
5–7 years’ experience in a materials design role (preference for footwear, but apparel or accessories experience considered).
Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and strong skills with presentation tools such as Photoshop, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
Basic understanding of material types, including knits, wovens, synthetics, and injection techniques.
Ability to build accurate 2D technical drawings; strong collaboration and trend research skills are essential.
