This senior leadership role builds and elevates the Technical Program Management (TPM) function to turn strategy into execution across complex, cross-system initiatives. By orchestrating engineering, architecture, product, data, security, and AI/ML teams around clear, scalable plans, the Senior Director drives modernization, reduces technical debt, improves engineering velocity, and strengthens governance to deliver modern, stable platforms and product capabilities.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy, Governance & Operating Rhythm Own the end-to-end technology and AI portfolio, aligning investments, capacity, and sequencing to top strategic priorities.
Define portfolio frameworks, KPIs/OKRs, and risk models (incl. AI risk) and run an operating cadence that drives clear prioritization, tradeoffs, and shared accountability.
Modernization, AI Platforms & Execution Excellence Run a tight, predictable execution model; surface dependencies and risks early and provide simple, transparent reporting on milestones and blockers.
Lead enterprise-scale modernization and AI-enabled platform programs, addressing legacy constraints and streamlining for efficiency and quality.
Promote scalable architecture, data foundations, and delivery standards that enable safe, responsible AI-powered experiences aligned to privacy and security.
Cross-Functional Leadership Align cross-functional partners around shared platform and AI roadmaps, resolving conflicting priorities with data and clear communication.
Partner with the cross-functional partners and the broader TPM function, setting standards and best practices for planning, governance, and execution.
Inspire, coach, and develop TPM talent across the organization, modeling calm, confident leadership in a high-stakes transformation.

Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or a minimum of 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with a minimum of 8 years experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
Extensive experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering, or Product/Tech Operations, including in a central ops capacity for a technology or product org.
Track record leading enterprise-scale modernization and platform programs.
Proven ability to translate product and AI strategy into actionable roadmaps and operating plans, and to run effective portfolio and governance processes.
Data-driven, experimentation mindset; comfortable setting and managing outcome-focused KPIs/OKRs.
Exceptional communicator across technical and business audiences; skilled at simplifying complexity, framing tradeoffs, and influencing decisions.
Highly organized, structured, and execution-driven, with a reputation for unblocking teams, aligning cross-functional partners, and leading through change.
