Bloomberg Government is seeking a scoop-hungry investigative reporter to follow the money across the Trump administration, revealing how power dynamics are evolving and who stands to benefit. This reporter will dig into federal outlays, expose patterns of political influence, and produce agenda-setting journalism that shows readers how taxpayer dollars are really being spent. P roduce stories with compelling leads, nut graphs, solid framing , and diverse sourcing that can be published with minimal editing Leverage in depth knowledge of federal and state legislative, regulatory, and judicial processes. C ollaborate with colleagues on topic, multimedia and graphics teams as well as work independently. S erve as a subject-matter expert and resource for more junior reporters throughout the newsroom. Bachelor's degree with coursework in English or journalism preferred. ~7 years' experience in journalism, including at least one year reporting on legal, tax, or government topics.
