
Sales Engineer – Industrial Machinery & Abrasives

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated
Sales Engineer
with technical expertise in industrial diamond-based abrasives and precision machinery. This role combines
technical sales, solution consulting, and post-sale support
to drive revenue growth and deliver measurable value to clients in aerospace, semiconductor, automotive, medical, and photonics industries.
Responsibilities
Conduct
technical sales presentations
and product demonstrations for prospects and clients.
Assess customer applications in
grinding, honing, lapping, and polishing , recommending optimal materials and machinery.
Develop solutions, configure products, and provide
post-sale technical support and troubleshooting .
Manage the full
sales cycle , including lead generation, proposals, negotiation, and closing orders.
Build and maintain
long‑term client and distributor relationships .
Monitor
market trends and competitor activity
to guide sales strategy.
Maintain accurate records in
CRM systems ; provide sales forecasts and reports.
Frequent travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering preferred.
3–5+ years in
technical industrial sales
or related role, ideally in abrasives or machinery.
Strong knowledge of
abrasive processes
and precision machinery.
Proven ability to manage the
full sales cycle
and achieve territory goals.
Excellent
communication, presentation, and negotiation skills .
Self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and results‑driven.
Proficiency with
CRM software
and Microsoft Office Suite.
