Structural Steel Shop Fitter

for a client in

Vidor, TX . Candidates must have prior experience as a Structural Steel Fitter. This is a

contract-to-hire

opportunity.

Schedule Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (30‑minute lunch; overtime as needed)

Pay DOE

Responsibilities / Requirements

Measure, cut, assemble, and fit various metals to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints accurately

Measure, position, align, and fit structural components such as beams, angle iron, channels, and plates

Proficient in using tools such as grinders and torches

Inspect parts to ensure accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety standards

Experience with steel fabrication for industrial and commercial projects

Previous experience in structural steel fitting, ideally with skid fabrication knowledge

Must pass background - No: Felonies / Violence / Theft and pass a drug test
