Summary Of Position
The Assistant Director of Admissions performs duties related to the recruitment, admission, and counseling of students, contributing to the achievement of enrollment goals established by the university. The position shares common responsibilities with other admissions officers, including representing the university to interested constituencies, reviewing admissions applications, and managing recruitment activities. Additionally, this role involves data collection, reporting, and analysis to support recruitment efforts.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related experience in a counseling or advising position. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in personal computer skills. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required. Ability to travel as needed. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with diverse populations (race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status). Familiarity with college and university admissions policies and procedures. Fluency in a language other than English is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
