Job Description
A Japanese company is seeking a bilingual Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee the financial performance and strategic planning of office and hotel assets. This role focuses on financial analysis, asset strategy, and investment decision support with no property management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze office and hotel asset performance, including cash flows, budgets, STR/RevPAR metrics, leasing performance, and market comps.
Build financial models for valuation, scenario analysis, and investment planning.
Develop strategic business plans to improve NOI and asset value.
Review office leasing activity and evaluate hotel performance reports with a focus on ROI.
Support acquisition/disposition underwriting and financial due diligence.
Prepare portfolio reports and presentations for internal teams and Japan HQs.
Communicate effectively in Japanese and English with stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
3–7+ years of experience in real estate asset management, investment analysis, or acquisitions.
Strong understanding of office leasing economics and hotel performance metrics (ADR, RevPAR, occupancy).
Advanced Excel skills; ARGUS experience preferred.
Business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with U.S. office and hotel markets.
Strong analytical, presentation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
