is a defense technology company focused on innovative advanced systems powered by Lattice OS. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to lead documentation for our Fury Team.

About the Team The Mission Success team partners with all business lines to support products that Anduril builds. Responsibilities include product operations, training and adoption, and user documentation.

Job Overview As a senior technical writer on our Fury Team, you will own the development and delivery of Technical Data Modules (TDMs). You will work with engineers, operations, subject matter experts, and government representatives to create clear, accurate documentation that supports mission‑critical operations.

Responsibilities

Generate, review, and edit S1000D data modules in Siemens Rapid Author.

Manage scope and schedule for contractual milestones related to Tech Manual (TM) development for internal teams and 1099 partners.

Monitor overall team progress and provide weekly status reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Manage risk and communicate changes clearly.

Lead communication with the Government regarding TM development.

Lead, educate, and motivate a team of Tech Writers to deliver contract deliverables.

Act as the single point of contact for all communications related to the TM project.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience generating technical documentation.

Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.

Experience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) for S1000D publications.

Proficiency building DOD‑focused content in XML.

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating S1000D data modules, ideally MIL‑STD‑3048.

Background in aerospace and defense technical documentation.

Military experience, particularly with technical documentation standards.

Prior military aviation service.

Experience documenting software release content in an Agile environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive with autonomy, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Leadership presence and passion for excellent documentation.

Compensation US Salary Range: $113,000—$1,149,000 USD. Salary offers may vary based on experience, education, and business considerations.
