How You Will Contribute In this role, the Residential Construction Estimator will contribute to the organization’s success by providing accurate, thoughtful cost estimates and feasibility analyses for non-standard, multi-unit residential projects. They will play a key role in supporting business development efforts with thorough due diligence, technical sales support, and close coordination with operational teams. The Residential Construction Estimator will directly support informed decision-making, improve efficiency, and drive successful outcomes from initial evaluation through project completion.
Responsibilities
Estimating & Pricing: Provides the Business Development Manager & Representatives with Pricing Support for Non-Standard Plans and Upgrades
Technical Sales Support: Assists Business Development Manager & Representatives with understanding & quantifying project-specific needs and challenges
Post Sales Support: Provides the Business Development Manager with Sales Support as needed to help drive the sales process forward and provide both internal and external teams with the information they need to be successful

What You Can Offer
Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Specialized knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of the residential homebuilding process and residential construction project estimating
General knowledge of land development preferred
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce
Experience in PlanSwift or other estimating software preferred
Strong analytical and financial skills
Abilities
Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Work and be productive with minimal supervision
Work effectively with internal team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes
Prioritize based on company needs and goals
Execute based on company needs and goals within strategic lens
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, high growth environment
Experience
Construction Estimating Experience Required
Experience in feasibility research, due diligence, and construction project management, preferably in multi-unit residential development
Experience in cost modeling and risk assessment preferred
Sales experience, especially residential home sales preferred
