Position Summary The Sr. Associate, Enterprise Architecture is responsible for partnering with business, data & analytics, and engineering teams to create and oversee the technical design of end‑to‑end solutions that meet business objectives and align with enterprise standards. The role collaborates closely with stakeholders to guide the design, build, and documentation of solutions, ensuring each solution is robust, secure, and strategically aligned with broader enterprise goals. A key component is maintaining thorough documentation of processes, design, and build of systems, working with implementation teams.

What You Will Do: Technical Solution Design

Develop and refine solution architectures, integrating applications, data flows, and technology platforms.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to validate feasibility, scalability, and performance considerations.

Lead or participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes to ensure proposed solutions adhere to enterprise principles.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.

Provide a technical perspective in enterprise‑wide governance processes, ensuring all solutions align with overall policies and guidelines.

Define, socialize, and maintain business‑architecture standards (naming conventions, modeling methods, documentation templates).

Process & Capability Modeling

Document current‑state and future‑state process flows, value streams, and enterprise capability maps by working with stakeholders from multiple domains.

Identify optimization and innovation opportunities, prioritizing those that deliver quantifiable business value.

Support data modeling efforts, including conceptual and logical data models, data integration patterns, and data governance standards.

Work with teams to ensure consistent and accurate data definitions across the organization.

Architecture Review & Guidance

Lead or participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes to ensure proposed solutions adhere to enterprise principles.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.

Provide a technical perspective in enterprise‑wide governance processes, ensuring all solutions align with overall policies and guidelines.

Define, socialize, and maintain business‑architecture standards (naming conventions, modeling methods, documentation templates).

Data Architecture Support

Support data modeling efforts, including conceptual and logical data models, data integration patterns, and data governance standards.

Work with the teams to ensure consistent and accurate data definitions across the organization.

What You Will Have: Required:

Experience creating reference architecture diagrams with any of the leading diagramming tools (Miro, Lucid, Draw.io, etc.) and ability to learn and adapt.

Experience embedding security and compliance considerations into solution designs.

Proficient in converting processes, relationships and concepts into diagrams.

A good understanding of architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event‑driven, containerization) and integration methods (APIs, messaging).

Ability to understand and describe cloud‑based reference architecture diagrams and reasoning about them.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with knowledge of key concepts, how different cloud services connect, trade‑offs and best practices.

Strong communication skills, translating complex concepts for business and technical audiences.

Collaborative mindset for partnering across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Prior experience programming in languages such as Python and SQL, with a good understanding of concepts, techniques and patterns involved.

Preferred:

Experience in financial services, familiarity with buy‑side investment concepts.

Familiarity with reinsurance, actuarial and retro‑cession concepts.

Base Salary Range: $130,000 USD - $160,000 USD

In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
