Responsibilities
Serve as liaison with manufacturers and departments regarding product support issues.
Analyze product issues and provide support for parts, service, and sales.
Research product issues using DTAC, technical manuals, business systems, and troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems.
Provide technical communications and updates for DTAC, monitor case status, and ensure timely closure of open cases.
Communicate solutions to Service/Parts/Sales and manufacturers timely.
Advise customers on technical data to ensure satisfaction or product repairs.
Record solutions and maintain database of repairs.
Keep current with Capstone and other machine training.
Deliver Capstone and other technical training to Service Technicians.
Qualifications
Proficient in cross‑functional leadership, customer focus, analytical skills, and comfortable communicating with customers.
Highly developed technical abilities across heavy equipment: electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, fuel systems, etc.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Minimum 5 years of product support management in construction/forestry industry.
Competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ability to learn new software quickly.
Flexibility to handle a changing work environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team orientation.
Ability to understand and present complex technical data for training employees.
Knowledge of construction equipment dealer business practices, especially at John Deere dealerships.
Keep current certifications required to lead & instruct Capstone & technical training.
Education
Degree in Business/Management or equivalent experience.
Capstone Certifications required; ongoing training provided.
Physical Demands
Ability to use personal protective equipment.
Full range of motion for back, arms, legs.
Climb onto/away from mobile construction equipment (~3‑4 ft).
Lift or carry 50‑75 lbs.
Assist with moderate noise levels.
