The Senior UX Designer will create user-centric strategies for eCommerce websites and execute them through interfaces that are functional, reliable, usable and beautiful. They will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, researchers, quality analysts, and project managers to create and optimize the shopping experience for our client's websites. As the Senior UX Designer, you will be hands-on in all aspects of User Experience design and development, including gathering and understanding business & user needs, devising user flows, building out detailed annotated wireframes, high/low fidelity prototypes, and a wide range of strategic UX deliverables.

Creation of usable and accessible UI designs
Deliver design with attention to detail and well-organized files
Study user behavior and the competitive landscape to determine potential opportunities to improve conversion rates
Integrate quantitative and qualitative data into design solutions
Effectively communicate with client and the project teams
Learn how to read key metrics and KPIs in order to provide designs that address business problems
Collaborating with User Researchers in continuous website experiments by prototyping and testing UX improvements
Requirements
5 - 7+ years of experience; strong performer with a track record of success
Portfolio of eCommerce UI/UX design projects - preferably data-driven and /or best-practice backed strategic UX solutions to specific ecommerce pain points
Working knowledge of DTC ecommerce / CRO terms and concepts
Ability to wireframe, prototype and execute digital interfaces
Proven background of frequent interfacing with clients where you're able to present / pitch your designs effectively
Proven background of working closely with other departments: Research, Development, Project Management, etc and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
A strong grasp of components of Visual Design: Typography, Composition, Space & Form, Colours, etc
Adequate knowledge of UX practices like information architecture, user-flows, usability studies, user personas, etc
Intermediate Figma proficiency
Good to have: Figma Animation or Interaction Design ability
Good to Have: Managing or mentorship experience
Strong desire to learn and grow in an e-commerce agency environment
Critical-thinker and problem-solver
This is a contract position, the pay range is $50 - $70 USD per hour. The hourly pay range listed is an estimate and may vary based on skills, experience, location, and project requirements. Final rates will be confirmed at the time of offer.
