We are actively seeking candidates who are ready to step in, take ownership of an existing book of business, and lead with purpose and integrity. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Farm Bureau Insurance Business Owner, located in Macomb, MI. The Business Owner will manage and grow the insurance business, provide excellent service to policyholders, develop sales strategies, and work closely with the community. Responsibilities include overseeing agency operations, developing business strategies, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and laws. Daily tasks involve client consultations, policy management, and collaboration with other agents to ensure comprehensive coverage for clients. Qualifications
Experience in insurance sales, customer service, and business management Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Proven track record of business development and growth Knowledge of life, home, auto, and business insurance products Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Thorough understanding of insurance regulations and compliance Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred) Certifications such as CIC, CPCU, or AAI are a plus Seniority level
