Corrugated Packaging Designer – Structural & Displays

Structural Packaging Designer – Corrugated (ArtiosCAD) | RSC, FOL, Die Cuts We are seeking an experienced

Corrugated Packaging Designer

to create and refine structural packaging solutions, including

RSC, FOL, die cuts, displays, and inserts . This role designs cost-effective, manufacturable packaging using

ArtiosCAD / AutoCAD

while collaborating with sales, production, and tooling teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and modify

2D structural corrugated packaging

using

ArtiosCAD

Develop layouts, samples, and prototypes for customer approval

Select appropriate

board grades, flute profiles, ECT/Mullen , and stacking strength

Ensure manufacturability on

flexo, die cutter, and gluer equipment

Coordinate with tooling vendors and manage cutting dies inventory

Troubleshoot design and fit issues during production

Maintain design files, specs, and revision control documentation

Required Qualifications

3+ years of corrugated packaging design experience

(RSC, FOL, die cuts, displays, inserts)

Strong proficiency in

ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software

In-depth knowledge of

corrugated materials, flutes, board grades, and packaging performance standards

Associate degree in

Packaging, Engineering, Industrial Design, CAD Drafting , or related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong math, blueprint reading, and technical drawing skills

Preferred

Experience with

Kongsberg digital cutting tables

Knowledge of

flexographic printing

Familiarity with

TOPS packaging performance software

Adobe Illustrator skills
