Director of Accounting @ High Growth Service Firm

We're working with a High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Controller within one of their Business Units. This professional will be a lead working with Executive Sales Leadership within that group along with Corporate teams. Will be responsible for all Financial Transactions including Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Asset Acquisitions, Audit Assistant, and Financial Systems Implementations. Key Focus Areas: Lead Month-End Financial Accounting Transactions including GL and monthly financial packages Drive Budgeting and forecasting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports Forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances. Creation and management of accounting policies as well as revenue recognition oversight Play an active role in evaluating, developing, implementing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures to respond to changes. Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely analysis of financial data, ensuring best practices. Ensures accurate and timely reporting of financial results, and undertakes other special projects as requested by the CAO and Financial Transformation Team. Manager and supervise accounting staff. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must 8+ years accounting experience out of Manufacturing, Service Companies, or Distributions Industry, any public accounting experience is a plus CPA is preferred Very Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Project Accounting, Percentage Completion, Financial Systems and Revenue Recognition is needed
