
Marketing and Communications Specialist

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Specialist to support our marketing team in developing and executing communications across multiple channels. This role plays a key part in building brand awareness, supporting product initiatives, and communicating our mission to patients, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a passion for healthcare, strong writing skills, and the ability to navigate the unique regulatory environment of the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
Job Requirements
Draft, edit, and coordinate approval of press releases, bylined articles, and other external communications
Write and update website content, ensuring accuracy, SEO best practices, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
Create marketing collateral including brochures, sell sheets, email campaigns, and presentations and slide decks
Partner with Marketing Operations and Commercial teams to develop trade show, conference, and sales materials that support go-to-market initiatives
Track and report on content and social media performance metrics
Maintain brand voice and style consistency across all communications
Basic video editing for social media and internal use, including trimming, captioning, and simple graphics overlays.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or a related regulated industry
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva a plus
Familiarity with FDA regulatory guidelines for medical device and pharmaceutical marketing is a plus
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic web editing
