Executive Director of Economic Development
The City of Nacogdoches is seeking an Executive Director of Economic Development! Under the general direction of the City Manager, the Executive Director will provide strategic execution and leadership to achieve the economic development goals and objectives of three organizations: the City of Nacogdoches (a municipality), the Nacogdoches Development Corporation (a Type‑B economic development corporation), and the Nacogdoches Economic Development Corporation (NEDCO), a city‑county 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
As the primary staff support for the Type‑B corporation and NEDCO, the Executive Director will develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at business retention, expansion, and attraction. These efforts will encourage new business investments, development, relocation, and job creation in Nacogdoches.
