Responsibilities
Design and deploy proprietary trading strategies across global markets—futures, options, commodities, equities, or energy
Own your P&L while managing positions and risk within defined parameters that give you room to perform
Leverage cutting‑edge infrastructure—work alongside quants, developers, and risk teams who are as obsessed with performance as you are
Hunt for alpha—identify market inefficiencies, adapt to regime changes, and capitalize on opportunities others miss
Analyze relentlessly—conduct rigorous backtesting, post‑trade analysis, and performance optimisation to refine your edge
Collaborate at the highest level—interface with technology, operations, and risk teams in a culture that values both independence and teamwork
Essential Qualifications
Proven profitability—at least 4 years of trading experience at a prop shop, hedge fund, or similar high‑performance environment with a demonstrable track record
Quantitative firepower—Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related technical field
Deep market intuition—you understand market structure, execution mechanics, and how to extract edge from complexity
Risk discipline—you know when to press and when to pull back; consistent returns matter more than lucky wins
Composure under pressure—fast markets don't rattle you; they energise you
Collaborative mindset—you value feedback, share insights, and elevate those around you
Advanced Qualifications
Experience trading energy products, fixed income, commodities, or equity index futures
Background in algorithmic or systematic trading strategies—you speak the language of quants
Hands‑on work with quantitative models, market‑making systems, or discretionary strategies
Technical proficiency with statistical modelling, VBA, SQL, Python, or other analytical tools
