Role Overview

The Requirements Capture Analyst will provide data analytics, data management, and data architecture support. All activities will comply with applicable laws and policies, emphasizing the protection of individuals’ civil liberties and privacy. Senior Requirements Capture Analyst Responsibilities

Engage with clients and external stakeholders, in person or via other means, to capture mission needs using various techniques, and translate those needs into actionable tasks for the Data Analytics or Data Management Teams. Collaborate with team members to ensure needs are accurately documented using industry-standard artifacts such as use case diagrams for complex requirements. This role may require travel to meet with clients at remote or neutral locations. This is a cross-functional support role, with assignments to various teams as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Degrees in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Database Administration, GIS, Information Security, IT, IT Management, Network Administration, Software Development, Technical Writing, or Web Design & Development. Experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government as a Database Administrator, Manager, or Systems Engineer, with hands-on experience in database standards and end-user applications. At least five (5) years of experience in data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL, with concurrent work experience. At least five (5) years of experience in database design, data modeling, data mining, query creation, report generation, documentation, coding, DBA tools, third-party tools, and APIs, with concurrent work experience. At least five (5) years of experience with statistical packages for analyzing large datasets, with concurrent work experience. Strong problem-solving skills, strategic and critical task prioritization, and algorithmic thinking. Desired Skills

Understanding of U.S. Federal Government business needs, with strong analytical and organizational skills. Security Clearance
