as a Fuel System Designer / Engineer in our Transportation group. This role is based in Portland, ME; Auburn, NH; or Kansas City, MO.
Overview We plan, design, and manage transport infrastructure projects that move people and goods. As part of the national Fuel System Engineering Team, you will design fuel infrastructure for fleets, aviation, EV charging, and alternative fuel systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Computer Aided Design (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) work for civil, mechanical, and electrical fuel systems in AutoCAD and Revit.
Create specifications, design reports, and documentation.
Conduct office and field activities, including construction observation, site inspection, and compliance inspection.
Travel locally, regionally, and nationally as required.
Required Capabilities
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Experience with AutoCAD or Revit (CADD/BIM).
Strong design and engineering skills with willingness to learn.
Detail orientation, strong written communication, and teamwork.
Self‑starter capable of identifying daily needs and assisting as needed.
Education & Experience
B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technology).
5–10 years of related work experience preferred.
EIT licensure or PE a plus.
Work Environment Typical office work with extended periods on a computer; occasional field work in various weather conditions.
