
Social Content Creator

The Social Content Creator will be responsible for developing, producing, and optimizing high-performing social content across both organic and paid social channels. This role sits at the intersection of creative, performance marketing, and cultural relevance and will need to translate business objectives into scroll-stopping content that drives engagement, conversion, and brand growth.
This person will not just make posts. They will concept, create, test, and iterate content designed to perform across platforms like Instagram, Reddit, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. It is all in support of both direct response campaigns and brand storytelling.
The ideal candidate understands how to create content that works in-feed and converts in ads, leveraging platform trends, audience insights, and performance data to continuously improve output.
This role requires someone who is highly creative, fast-moving, data-aware, and comfortable operating in a performance-driven, test-and-learn environment.
Duties / Responsibilities: Content Creation (Organic & Paid) & Management
Concept, produce, and edit high-quality social content across formats including short‑form video (Reels/TikTok), static, carousel, and ad creative
Develop content tailored for both organic engagement and paid performance (e.g., hooks, UGC‑style ads, testimonial formats, educational content)
Use eMed’s SMMS tool, Sprout, to manage the posting and community management of organic social content
Translate complex healthcare and GLP‑1 topics into clear, compelling, and platform‑native content
Stay on top of social trends, formats, and cultural moments, identifying opportunities to create timely, relevant content
Paid Social Creative Support
Partner with Paid Media and Agency teams to develop ad creative aligned with campaign objectives (lead gen, conversions, awareness)
Create and iterate on multiple creative variations to support testing (hooks, messaging angles, formats)
Apply performance insights (CTR, CPA, etc.) to refine and improve creative output
Develop content that aligns with platform best practices and conversion‑driven storytelling
Content Strategy & Ideation
Collaborate with Marketing & Product teams to identify key messaging themes and content opportunities
Contribute to content calendars across organic and paid channels
Bring proactive ideas for new content series, formats, and growth opportunities
Balance educational, promotional, and culturally relevant content
Performance & Optimization
Analyze content performance across platforms and campaigns
Identify patterns in high‑performing content and apply learnings to future output
Continuously test new formats, hooks, and messaging approaches
Partner with analytics and paid media teams to align creative with performance goals
Required Skills / Abilities
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn) and what performs on each
Experience creating content for both organic social and paid advertising
Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) and basic design tools (Canva, Figma, etc.)
Ability to translate complex or regulated topics into clear, engaging content
Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of hooks, pacing, and audience retention
Data‑aware mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and optimize content accordingly
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Comfortable working cross‑functionally with marketing, legal/compliance, and leadership teams
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in social content creation, preferably in a performance‑driven or growth‑focused environment
Experience in healthcare, wellness, telehealth, or regulated industries is a plus
Portfolio of social and/or paid ad creative required
