Mortgage Loan Sales – Mortgage Banking Consultant
F.N.B. Corporation is seeking a Mortgage Banking Consultant to originate residential mortgage loans through internal and external referral sources. The role builds and maintains strong referral relationships, counsels mortgage customers, and manages the loan pipeline to meet key milestones.
Position Overview Responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, providing excellent customer service, and supporting all key channel initiatives and sales activities. Must meet or exceed personal production and strategic activity goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Build relationships with internal and external referral sources through key sales strategies and activities to achieve expected performance goals.
Counsel customers on lending options and solutions to meet their needs.
Support and facilitate key banking partnerships.
Provide excellent service and support an outstanding customer mortgage experience.
Effectively manage loan pipeline to meet key milestones such as delivering initial documentation, closing dates, rate expiration dates, pricing, and compliance related expectations.
Provide feedback to management on process efficiencies and overall customer experience.
Assists with recruiting and hiring of support team members as needed.
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School or GED.
Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use general office equipment and personal computer with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at a basic level.
BS or BA degree preferred.
Must possess a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry identifier. Experience with Easylender, Uni-form, and Genesis.
