
COMMERCIAL SUPERINTENDENT for FEDERAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Commercial Federal Construction Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the planning and execution of daily commercial construction site operations for a federal project.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
Direct field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule.
Maintain daily communications with the project manager and administrative staff.
Create and update project schedules for on‑time delivery.
Evaluate the effectiveness and performance of field personnel and their crews.
Complete daily reports and timesheets on the job site.
Attend meetings on and off site as directed.
Promote safety practices and procedures.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial construction experience, with USACE or federal projects.
Proven track record of successfully overseeing projects.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
Ability to read and evaluate blueprints and contract documents.
Experience with construction‑related software is desirable.
Understands and promotes the "team" concept.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, the public, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Must hold a CQM, EM‑385, or equivalent certification.
