
Piping Designer – Renewable Energy Infrastructure

We are seeking a
detail-oriented Piping Designer
to support EPC projects in power generation and distribution, including gas turbines, renewables, BESS, substations, and transmission systems. You will develop piping systems that are safe, efficient, and fully integrated with mechanical, electrical, and civil designs.
What You’ll Do
Develop piping designs including P&IDs, general arrangements (GAs), equipment layouts, and inline instrumentation
Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities
Verify existing field conditions and coordinate designs with client personnel
Create construction-ready documentation such as isometric drawings, installation plans, and bills of materials
Support construction and startup activities onsite
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines to ensure design alignment
What You Bring
Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting
Minimum 7 years of piping design and drafting experience, preferably in EPC projects
Familiarity with piping materials, supports, valves, and instrumentation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Inventor, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to interpret vendor drawings into construction-ready documentation
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Experience with flexibility/stress analysis is a plus
