Responsibilities The Director of Acute Care Pharmacy Services is responsible for the direction, leadership, operations, financial, regulatory, and quality components of all acute care hospital pharmacy departments.
Education & Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a PharmD degree
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience
Three (3) years of health-system pharmacy leadership and management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, or business preferred
Has held administrative positions in a large academic or complex health system for at least five (5) years
Certification & Licensure
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist for both Illinois and Wisconsin
Board certified through the Board of Pharmacy Specialists – preferred
