Description Position Summary Conceptualizes, creates, and coordinates the timely production of effective print advertising, web graphics, static and electronic signage, outdoor advertising, and promotional materials.

Essential Functions

Prepares original art and designs for various departments and advertising campaigns as assigned.

Prepares original artwork consistent with current branding message developed by the Marketing Department.

As directed by supervisor, interfaces directly with department heads for facilitating the production of internal collateral materials.

Coordinates with vendors to prepare digital file production.

Solicits competitive bids with printing vendors.

Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues for Macintosh operating systems; maintains and upgrades system as necessary.

Maintains current knowledge base of applicable professional technology.

Maintains orderly files for active projects.

Keeps detailed logs of time spent on jobs using collaboration software.

Supports and assists in any other departmental functions or areas of responsibility as determined by Advertising Manager.

Assists with events to include ushering, setup, breakdown, and item distribution.

Education High School Diploma or GED

Associates degree in Graphic Design or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree highly desired.

Experience Five years of experience in the design and development, production, and coordination of advertising and collateral materials. Casino experience highly desired.

Computer Skills Advanced knowledge of Macintosh systems and software, primarily the current release of Adobe Creative Cloud software.

Microsoft Office intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Requires knowledge of graphic production techniques for the web.

Certificates & Licenses Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.

Work Environment Consistent deadline pressure in a fast-paced office. The position requires extensive computer use and constant attention to detail. Occasional exposure to a busy resort and gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Occasionally the work environment will be in locations exposed to smoke and loud noise and the associated affects.

Working Conditions Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
