Job Summary
The Sr. Director - TS Corporate Application defines and delivers the vision and strategy of Vistra's Corporate Applications to drive operational efficiencies and new business capabilities through cost-efficient and secure technology solutions. The Sr. Director will partner and collaborate with various business leaders and teams, and will lead a technology team (both direct reporting relationship and matrix organizations). With advancing and emerging technologies (specifically around Data and AI), this senior leader will deliver on today's business needs/requirements while also building-for-the future to best position Vistra for ongoing growth and value realization. Key Accountabilities
Develop and delivery on technology strategies and roadmaps across Vistra's corporate services functions (Finance & Accounting, Planning, Supply Chain, HR, Legal, and Corp. Development) Drive a culture of accountability, communication, clarity, and collaboration with specific focus on business value, return on investment, and cost management. Engage continuously with business leaders to understand their business and contribute to their success through technology solutions Develop, maintain, and align our technology roadmap with the strategic goals and objectives of the business units. Collaborate with business technology teams Oversee the maintenance and support of existing application solutions. Oversee the selection, design/development, and implementation of new business technology solutions to achieve strategic objectives. Continuously challenge our technology teams to identify and deliver more cost-effective solution alternatives that still maximize business value Prioritize technology spend with business leaders to maximize business value; deliver on business case/ROI; drive disciplined demand management Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Minimum 15 years progressive experience with demonstrated subject matter expertise with enterprise Corporate functions and technologies. Experience and expertise with SAP S/4 for Finance, Accounting, and Planning functions in a large enterprise Experience with Supply Chain / Procurement technologies and best practices. Preferred experience with SAP Ariba and/or Coupa. Possess extensive experience working in a matrix environment Exceptional ability to communicate (verbally and written) across stakeholders and senior management Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills Key Metrics
