Location: New York, NY | Salary Range: $300,000.00/yr – $400,000.00/yr
Futura Search Partners is engaged with a leading global investment conglomerate to identify a
Director
to join its rapidly expanding
Private Credit platform . This newly created position sits within the firm’s
Opportunistic Credit/Asset-Based Lending
vertical.
Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of opportunistic and asset-based lending investments.
Develop and maintain origination channels across sponsors, corporates, intermediaries, and specialty platforms.
Manage underwriting and due diligence processes, including financial modeling, collateral analysis, and documentation review.
Partner with senior leadership to shape investment theses, portfolio construction, and risk frameworks.
Mentor and develop junior team members within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
8–12+ years of experience in private, asset-based lending.
Proven track record executing complex, bespoke, or collateral-heavy credit transactions.
Strong technical grounding in credit underwriting, cash-flow modelling, and structuring.
Commercial instincts to originate and close transactions in a dynamic, multi-asset environment.
Backgrounds from leading private credit funds, investment banks, or specialty finance platforms are particularly relevant.
