Accounting / Tax Director role at SK battery America. Role and Responsibilities
Monthly Closing Activities:
Coordinate and perform monthly closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements. Work closely with cross-functional departments to gather, validate, and finalize expense related entries (logistics cost, bonus, administrative cost, etc.) and accruals. Financial Statement Preparation:
Prepare financial statements in IFRS and US-GAAP and consolidate with HQ. Audit:
Lead all audits responses such as external, internal and tax audits. Prepare and provide documents related to expenses, inventory, leases and revenue. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. System Management:
Manage process/system set-up, implementation and stabilization. Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business or related field. Comprehensive understanding of both IFRS and US-GAAP. Comprehensive understanding of federal, state and local taxes (including property tax, PILOP). SAP experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a leadership role within an organization ( preferred ). AICPA certification ( preferred ). Seniority level
