Automotive Sales Consultant – Toyota
High-traffic Toyota dealership located in a metro highway area. We value reliability, data-driven decision making, and long-term customer trust.
Position Overview The role focuses on the full customer journey: needs assessment, product presentation, trade-in evaluation, follow-up, and delivery, supported by modern technology and a structured sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Guide customers through the full Toyota ownership journey.
Conduct needs-based consultations and deliver professional product presentations focused on value and fit.
Manage unsold showroom, phone, and internet leads; execute disciplined, timely follow-up using CRM tools.
Work the phone to re-engage prospects and prior customers; ask for and cultivate customer referrals; build repeat and referral business.
Properly evaluate trade-in vehicles using condition, mileage, and market data; determine accurate trade values and explain them to customers.
Use CRM, sales-process software, and product-knowledge applications daily; operate effectively in a fully digital, paperless sales environment.
Maximize opportunities; maintain closing ratios above market averages; deliver strong gross profit performance; follow dealership policies, processes, and standards.
What We’re Looking For
Automotive sales experience preferred (Toyota experience a plus).
Strong communication and phone skills; organized, disciplined, and accountable.
Comfort using CRM and digital tools; ability to handle trade-in discussions professionally.
Ambitious, motivated, and coachable.
