Job Summary and Qualifications
The Director of Women’s Services is responsible for the 24/7 leadership of all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and strategic goals.
You will ensure alignment of all systems to support the business of the department considering business trends, while focusing on people, services, and financial stewardship.
This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies excluding patients, families, physicians, peers and other departments to move the organization forward.
You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operational oversight of the department including but not limited to payroll, hiring, counseling, mentoring/coaching, scheduling, orientation, competency validation of new and existing staff, and annual evaluations.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
Five (5) years of experience in nursing.
Previous department Director of Manager experience, with at least two (2) years of experience.
Licensure / Certifications
Texas state RN license. RN compact license is acceptable.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
