Regional Asset Manager (Multifamily & Social Impact)

The Role: We are seeking a
Regional Asset Manager
to lead the Western U.S. portfolio for a specialized
$185M+
Social Impact Fund. This role is the "CEO of the assets" for the region, balancing high-level financial strategy with on-the-ground operational execution. You will report to the Senior Director of Operations and ensure that each asset meets its financial, mission-driven, and compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy:
Drive the annual business planning process for a regional multifamily portfolio, focusing on NOI growth, capital expenditure management, and social impact targets.
Financial Modeling & Reporting:
Lead internal property valuations, cash flow forecasting and variance analysis; manage reporting for institutional LPs and lenders.
Operational Oversight:
Direct third-party property management partners, ensuring a "property management plus" approach that prioritizes resident outcomes and operational excellence.
Compliance Management:
Oversight of regulatory covenants and affordability restrictions to ensure the portfolio meets its mission of providing permanent housing solutions.
Acquisition Support:
Partner with the investment team on due diligence for new Western Region acquisitions, providing market-specific insights.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience:
4–9 years of professional experience in Multifamily Asset Management, Real Estate Finance, or Investment Brokerage.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced Excel skills are essential; you must be comfortable with complex financial modeling and waterfall structures. Experience with
Yardi, AppFolio , or similar software is required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA/MSRE) is preferred.
Niche Knowledge:
Prior experience with affordable housing programs or regulatory compliance is a significant plus.
Location:
This is a
Denver-based
position. While the firm operates a flexible virtual model, candidates must be residents of the Denver Metro Area for proximity to regional projects.
