The Senior Interface Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring and supporting the Interfaces between the EMR system and Clinical and Ancillary Systems both inside and outside the organization. The Senior Interface Engineer has expert level of understanding of the Unix/AIX environment and HL7 Protocol. Pay: $130,000 to $145,000 Sr. Epic Interface Analyst job Responsibilities: Plans, designs, builds, validates, tests, implements, and supports interfaces between the electronic EMR and Clinical/Ancillary systems. Expert level of understanding of HL7, AIX/Unix Environment and scripting. Organize and lead interface specification meetings for gathering customer requirements; Build interface implementation project plans. Analyze workflows and gather requirements, implement specifications, support and maintain build related to the EMR’s, Provides customer service to define business needs and translate those needs into interface functionality requirements. Create batch processes to update Electronic Medical Record applications or Clinical Systems database Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience will be considered Required: EPIC Beaker; Interconnect, Cloverleaf and strong HL7 skills Epic Certification required At least 6 years of experience providing systems support required. Experience in health care environments preferred. Experience interacting with clinical or business areas to gather and understand workflow and technical requirements.
