
Account Manager

The Account Manager will support online product setup, maintenance, and sales execution across key retail partners such as Walmart and Sam’s Club. This role is highly operational and requires hands‑on experience working within retailer systems, managing item setup, monitoring inventory and shipments, and ensuring product accuracy across all platforms.

Job Summary
Manage item setup and maintenance in retailer systems such as Retail Link (IDM), AMT, and Supplier Hub
Monitor inventory feeds, shipment status, and resolve order discrepancies
Review and dispute retailer penalties related to shipping or compliance
Support online sales initiatives including advertising campaigns and product review programs (e.g., Bazaarvoice)
Assist in selecting and building product offerings in Excel to load into customer sites/portals.
Enter data on specific templates to submit to retail sites for approval.
Work with the Marketing department to deliver product images for all the items included on the submission templates and forward them to retailers as per individual requirements.
Submit pricing, control all completed templates to ensure all items are priced correctly to prevent order processing delays.
Collaborate with customer service and customers to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries or concerns.
Periodically review customer websites to ensure product presentation conforms to VCNY Home E-Commerce guidelines.
Perform ongoing maintenance for specific retailers to correct any inaccuracies appearing in product descriptions, specifications, images, etc.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in e‑commerce, retail account management, or vendor‑side operations
Strong experience with item setup, product data management, and retailer compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data uploads)
Experience managing product images, templates, and digital content
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
Preferred
Experience in home textiles, apparel, or consumer goods industry
