Canvassing Associate - Roofing & Exteriors (Part-Time)

Ferguson Roofing & Exteriors is hiring motivated individuals for our new Canvassing Associate – Roofing & Exteriors role to help generate new business by speaking with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods. This role focuses on setting qualified roofing inspections, not selling at the door. This is a paid position with performance incentives and a potential path into a Project Manager (sales) role for top performers.

No roofing experience required and we will provide paid training.

What You’ll Do

Canvass assigned neighborhoods to speak with homeowners

Educate homeowners on roofing, storm damage, and free inspections

Set qualified appointments for roofing inspections (no selling required at the door)

Accurately log homeowner information and appointments using SalesRabbit

Represent Ferguson Roofing & Exteriors professionally and ethically

Work closely with sales and production teams to support successful projects

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable with door-to-door outreach

Positive attitude and resilience (you won’t win every door)

Reliable transportation and smartphone

Ability to work afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends

Sales, canvassing, or customer-facing experience is a plus — but not required

Compensation & Benefits

$16 per hour base pay + commission-based pay with

uncapped earning potential

Paid training and ongoing coaching

Schedule

Part-time up to 30 hours a week in the afternoon, evenings, and weekends
