Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is looking for a technically inclined and motivated

Sales Engineer

to work closely with Business Development and Sales Executives to support larger, more complex opportunities while independently managing smaller, transactional projects.

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom design build contractor for industrial refrigeration systems, providing design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and service in-house.

Job Role:

This is a structured developmental role designed for a recent graduate. The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process, developing foundational technical and commercial skills, and closing smaller-scale opportunities for industrial refrigeration projects. This role focuses on building customer relationships, delivering responsive solutions, and driving revenue growth within defined accounts and deal sizes.

Key Duties:

Act as a technical expert and communicate engineering solutions effectively to customers

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and implementation

Collaborate with engineering to design and bid customized solutions

Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customer decision-makers

Serve as an advisor across all product and service offerings

Coordinate with internal teams including engineering and marketing to support customer needs

Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

Support service delivery and customer satisfaction for new and existing accounts

Participate in lead generation through networking, prospecting, and marketing initiatives

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in CRM systems

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field

Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts

Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills

Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods

Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)

Preferences:

Previous experience in sales or business development.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
