Position Overview Customer Development Manager – Responsible for managing assigned accounts in the Business Unit, developing customer interest in Ryder services (Full Service Lease, Programmed Maintenance, Lease Financing, Fleet Management Services, Dedicated Contract Carriage) using the Ryder Sales Process. Territory: Western Washington and Alaska. Office Location: Spokane WA. Hours: First Shift, Monday‑Friday.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and consistent contact with customers to meet requirements; develop sales penetration plans; segment account base for growth and risk.

Present Ryder services and capabilities; develop relationships with all customer buying influences; develop a complete understanding of customer business, goals and objectives.

Work with RIL to develop opportunities for application of services; serve as facilitator between customer and Ryder departments or vendors.

Ensure contracted services are delivered; orchestrate productive relationships; maintain appropriate customer contact; manage satisfaction; conduct scheduled reviews; monitor CSI results.

Anticipate problems through continuous dialogue; provide operational performance information; learn customer operations.

Training and improvement of sales skills, industry knowledge and personal growth needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Transportation, or equivalent experience.

Five or more years of consecutive sales and customer relationship management experience in prior sales responsibilities.

Compensation Base Salary: $74,000 per year. Lucrative uncapped commission potential with average commissions: Year One $20,000 – $35,000; Year Two $45,000 – $85,000.
