Concrete Construction Estimator
to join its growing team. This organization has strong expertise in
post‑tension concrete construction
and delivers a wide range of commercial projects including multifamily housing, hotels, medical office buildings, religious facilities, and industrial developments. The team places a strong emphasis on
safety, collaboration, and long‑term relationships with trade partners and clients. The Role
The Estimator plays a key role in evaluating project opportunities and preparing competitive bids for commercial concrete construction projects. This position is responsible for reviewing drawings, analyzing scope requirements, and developing detailed estimates that support successful project pursuits. You will work closely with general contractors, internal teams, and trade partners throughout the bidding process. What You’ll Be Doing
Review construction drawings and specifications to understand project scope Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis Develop estimates covering footings, poured walls, flatwork, and post‑tension elements Prepare and submit competitive bids for commercial concrete construction projects Project & Client Coordination
Build relationships with general contractors and project stakeholders Participate in site visits when needed to better understand project conditions Ensure bids align with project requirements and company pricing strategies Bid Management
Manage the bid process from drawing receipt through final submission Review scope requirements and identify potential risks or gaps Prepare final bid deliverables and documentation What They’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
or
at least 3 years of experience reading drawings and developing construction estimates Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with estimating or takeoff software such as
PlanSwift or AutoCAD Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines What’s Offered
