Hilton Austin Conference Center, 500 E. 4th Street, Austin, TX 78701 Responsibilities

As Assistant Director of Property Operations, you will assist the Director in ensuring the facility’s functionality and safety, supporting guest service and financial profitability. Key duties include: Directing and overseeing facility safety and operations for buildings, mechanical, electrical, heating & cooling, life safety systems, and grounds. Conducting facility inspections and supervising construction, installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems. Assigning, documenting, and verifying completion of routine maintenance in the property maintenance management system. Communicating with city/county/state officials to maintain permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance. Assisting in capital projects and property rehabilitations. Monitoring team performance, providing supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and professional development. Recruiting, interviewing, and training team members. Acting in the Director’s absence. Leading special projects as needed. Benefits

Proven leadership and experience in property operations/engineering. Strong understanding of building systems and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Experience managing a team of at least 20 technicians. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
