Overview:
Responsible for assisting the management team in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise (“Every Day Should Feel This Good”) and makes service a top priority.
Functions & Responsibilities
Responsible for meeting goals/measures.
Develops and maintains relationships with top customers.
Supports in-store event sourcing and execution.
Customer Experience
Ensures the store reflects Shep & Ian’s vision of “Every Day Should Feel This Good” through “Hosting the Party.”
Leads the store in email capture and educates new associates on best practices.
Ensures the customer wish list is always current and customers are notified when product arrives.
Crew Development
Assists with training new associates.
Helps foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment.
Assists in recruiting and referring top talent for the store’s teams.
Supports store and team‑building activities with the management team.
Operations
Maintains loss prevention awareness at all times.
Helps maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
Maintains merchandising as it pertains to company standards, current compass (floor set), and brand initiatives.
Contributes to weekly product feedback.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Team focused, confident, and professional.
Creative, adaptable, entrepreneurial and driven by integrity.
Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, weekends.
