Relationship Banker (Branch) Represent the Chase brand with hospitality, using modern banking solutions and technology to provide friendly, attentive service. Build and retain client relationships, offer solutions to meet their financial needs, and contribute to branch success.

Job Responsibilities

Put clients first and exceed their expectations—deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.

Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.

Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust—ask questions, listen, anticipate their needs.

Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them bank whenever, wherever, and however they want.

Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients about banking solutions, and collaborate with experts for specialized financial needs.

Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.

Ability to create memorable client experiences—elevate the client experience.

Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits to clients with varying needs.

Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail—providing consistent client experience.

Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.

High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.

Required licenses: Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses. Unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through JPMorgan Chase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, with study materials and support provided.

Availability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

College degree or military equivalent.

Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
