
Commercial Account Manager

The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for driving branch revenue growth through proactive sales, strategic account management, and exceptional client service. This role focuses on building long‑term client relationships, managing existing accounts, and developing new business opportunities for Valcourt’s commercial exterior maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of any service issues, complaints, or requests.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. Upsell and cross‑sell additional services to maximize account potential.
Proposal & RFP Management:
Prepare and manage proposals, bids, and RFP responses for annual service contracts and one‑time project work.
Client Relationship Development:
Build and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, site visits, meetings, and participation in industry events and client functions.
Collaboration with Operations:
Partner with the operations team to ensure smooth job execution, clear communication of scopes, and fulfillment of client expectations.
Market Development:
Participate in networking and association events to promote Valcourt’s services and expand the company’s client base.
Qualifications
3–5 years of progressive experience in sales, account management, or a client‑facing role with a track record of success.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self‑starter with a competitive drive and an outgoing personality.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
