
Senior Graphic Designer

VAI is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with big ideas, bold perspective and who wants to bring our brand to life. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role is responsible for leading projects and conceptualizing and producing visual content across a variety of digital and print channels and other marketing initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as senior creative contributor, lead concept development and elevate brand communication across channels producing captivating graphics, layouts and illustrations for various projects.
Own design projects from concept through final delivery, balancing speed, quality and consistency.
Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring all work meets a high bar for quality, consistency and brand integrity.
Oversee the management of design assets and system along with maintaining branding g
Develop production-ready files for print, digital and other environmental applications with precision and attention to detail.
Actively participate in and lead brainstorming sessions, contributing creative insights and ideas.
Collaborate with other designers, copywriters and team members in various departments throughout the company.
Lead and partner with external vendors and agencies to provide clear direction, oversee production processes and ensure deliverables meet brand standards and expectations.
Present and articulate work confidently, clearly communicating rationale and aligning stakeholders around solutions.
Stay abreast of design trends and emerging technologies to infuse the team with fresh, innovative ideas.
What You Bring:
7+ years of professional design experience, including leading design resources.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Figma or similar tools a plus.
Proficient in fundamentals of design (color, balance, proximity, alignment, contrast, repetition, size and space).
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of designs and styles with a heavy emphasis on branding and experience-driven industries such as hospitality, entertainment or lifestyle.
Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategy into compelling visual solutions.
Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative and contributing beyond assigned tasks.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, effectively managing time and priorities to meet tight deadlines with composure and without compromising quality.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to take feedback professionally.

Education/Experience:
Degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field (Bachelors or better).
Experience in a senior-level design role, demonstrating leadership and project management skills.
Animation, video editing and/or photography experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of standing, sitting or walking for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.
Requires extended periods of time working on computer screens.
At times walking around property to capture photography.
