R100121640**POSITION:** Golf Cart Attendant/Starter/Ranger**DEPARTMENT**: Operations**REPORTS TO:** Groesbeck Golf Course Manager**FLSA STATUS:** Hourly, Non-Exempt **THE ROLE**The Golf Cart Attendant / Starter/Ranger at **Groesbeck Golf Course** is responsible for maintaining the daily readiness, cleanliness, and safe operation of the golf cart fleet and cart staging areas. This includes inspecting carts before and after use, ensuring proper fuel or charge levels, refilling sand bottles, performing routine preventative maintenance, monitoring tire pressure, washing carts, and maintaining a clean and organized cart facility.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**The position also requires accurate documentation of maintenance, proper sorting of recyclables, and completion of all opening and closing procedures while adhering to health, safety, and organizational standards.In addition to equipment responsibilities, the role supports golf course operations and guest service by assisting with on-time starts, monitoring pace of play, providing guidance on course etiquette, and promptly reporting or helping resolve any issues that arise on the course. The attendant is expected to work cooperatively with staff, maintain a professional and positive demeanor, comply with all policies and safety regulations, and assist with special events, meetings, and other duties as assigned.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**This position has no supervisory responsibilities.**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Education and/or Experience**• High school diploma or GED preferred• Prior golf course experience preferred but not required**Skills and Abilities**The position requires flexibility in scheduling, the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, and the physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, and operating equipment safely while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.**COMPENSATION**Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience, discounted golf privileges.**WORKING CONDITIONS**Location: On Site**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
