Vinyl Installer
As a Vinyl Installer, you will be responsible for applying vinyl graphics to various surfaces including signs, walls, windows, and floors, ensuring precise alignment and smooth application according to client specifications. You will need to clean and prepare surfaces, remove any contaminants, and ensure that surfaces are smooth before application. You will also use cutting tools to trim vinyl materials to the correct size and shape for each project.
Responsibilities
Apply vinyl graphics to signs, walls, windows, floors, and other surfaces according to client specifications.
Ensure precise alignment and smooth application, considering curves, corners, and contours of the surface.
Clean and prepare surfaces for vinyl application, removing dirt, debris, or contaminants that may affect adhesion.
Ensure surfaces are smooth and free from imperfections before applying vinyl.
Use cutting tools to trim vinyl materials to the correct size and shape for the project.
Ensure accurate cuts, seamless fit, and bubble-free application.
Manage vinyl materials, ensuring proper storage and handling to prevent damage.
Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in working with vinyl graphics.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to use a computer.
Attention to detail.
Motivation to complete projects on time.
Effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Flexibility in handling tasks such as grinding, welding, installation, signage, sheet metal work, wiring, and countersinking.
Previous experience with vinyl is a significant advantage.
Experience in inventory tracking.
Quality control expertise.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41,600.00 - $54,080.00 per year. General benefits include 401(k), health, vision, and dental.
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis, MN.
Work Environment The role is based in a clean fabrication shop that is well-lit. This position requires working collaboratively in a team environment where cross-training is encouraged.
