Role & Schedule
Camp coach with an athletic or coaching background, ideally experienced in summer camps or coaching kids ages 4‑9.
Lead the KidStrong curriculum, focusing on brain, physical, and character development.
Work during school breaks, typically 9 am – 2:30 pm (may vary by location).
Available for additional private party coaching and KidStrong class coaching, which may require extra training.
Coach Responsibilities
Oversee up to 20 children aged 4‑9.
Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
Ensure camps start and end on schedule and maintain the appropriate pace.
Greet students and parents upon arrival.
Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor while leading camp.
Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.
Keep accurate attendance records.
Maintain cleanliness of the center (lobby, bathrooms, floors, equipment).
Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records for parents (attendance, awards, etc.).
Communicate professionally with co‑workers via Slack or the company messaging system.
Complete required training through LearnUpon.
Work in a physically intensive environment, covering multiple miles and lifting up to 25 lb.
Work hands‑on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety.
Attend mandatory staff meetings as required by the KidStrong Director.
Obtain camp‑certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team.
Supervise safety and program implementation for campers, ensuring the well‑being of all children.
Job Qualifications
Passion for working with children (non‑negotiable).
Prior experience coaching students within the KidStrong age range preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred.
CPR certified.
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Self‑starter who gets the job done.
Compensation $100.00 per day.
