Tailor/Seamstress – Seasonal (Tallahassee, FL)
Monday - Friday Day Shift

Responsibilities
Read and accurately identify the customer’s needs per the Work Instruction Document.
Take necessary measurements and mark garments for alterations with the ability to problem solve individual sizing issues.
Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency, including taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, and applying stripe.
Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Previous experience in alterations preferred; Galls will train.
Well‑versed with industrial sewing machines preferred; Galls will train.
Ability to effectively read and receive work instructions in English.
Extremely detail‑oriented and quality‑focused; not happy with mistakes.
Solid communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand or sit for long periods, bend, stretch, twist, and lift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
