Retail Sales Associate
Part Time
Location: Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Florida
Goodwill of Southwest Florida works with the community providing support in mission services, retail and donated goods, and business development.
Responsibilities
Provide great customer service: friendly, fast, accurate and safe service.
Assist customers on the sales floor and promptly process transactions at the register.
Become familiar with all departments/categories to assist with customer questions and requests.
Greet all customers, receive donations and provide receipts.
Cross‑trained to cover the back‑door donation area and process all stations in the backroom.
Other duties as instructed by your immediate supervisor.
Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Retail experience preferred.
Required Skills
Experience using a cash register, adding machine, credit card machine, and telephone.
Ability to follow pricing guidelines and give clear oral and written instructions.
Basic math skills.
Good judgment and exercise patience and understanding.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items; lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds; stand for long periods; work where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
