
Architectural Sales Representative

We are seeking a
motivated and experienced Specification Sales Representative
to join our dynamic and growing sales team. This role is responsible for developing leads, building strong relationships within the design community, understanding customer needs, and driving projects from specification through order completion. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and skilled at closing sales while meeting or exceeding revenue goals. Key Responsibilities Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products and relevant industry trends Identify architectural and design firms that align with our offerings Expand existing business within the assigned territory of Utah, Montana, Idaho & Wyoming Build relationships through product presentations, library updates, lunch & learns, and industry events Provide architects and designers with specification documents, budgetary pricing, and material samples Document all activity and opportunities in the company CRM Provide material quotes to contractors and subcontractors for active projects Achieve specification and revenue sales goals Manage and follow up on assigned leads, including those outside the defined territory Identify and develop new business with targeted commercial end users Prepare and submit monthly pipeline reports Track and manage projects from initial specification through order completion Actively participate in local and regional trade associations (AIA, ASID, IIDA, CSI, etc.) Qualifications & Skills Proven prospecting and closing abilities Sales experience, preferably in architectural products or building materials Strong relationship-building and communication skills Technical understanding of construction or architectural products Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Customer-focused approach Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals Why Join Us?
